Day 106: Getting Back Into The VC Game

I've been sitting on this information for a week.

I got an offer to be a scout for a VC firm! I'm excited. I've been super busy, but during my spare time, I thought about the offer and whether I should take it or not.

I'm taking it. Deep down, I know that I want to move away from writing on tech startups for Forbes, and only doing that for my newsletter, F2F. Yes, I could arrange things to write for both while being a scout and avoiding any conflict of interest, but I would rather have a clean break from Forbes tech writing as a whole.

Becoming a scout helps set the foundation of being a content creator first, investor second.

I plan to sign and send in the offer tomorrow after reviewing it in full one more time.

Excited for this small, but major step. Also, another big announcement tomorrow!
