Day 21: Catching Up On Emails

Unfortunately, since I've had so much time tied up in work or publishing the Forbes article, I am way behind on both my emails (and other forms of correspondence), the vlogs, and the newsletter.

On the emails and vlogs, I'm planning to knock them all out today. For the blogs and vlogs specifically, I don't plan to miss another day again. I'm going to start cranking them out in the morning so I don't miss days (plus, I don't like using my phone right before bed.)

The newsletter is a bit of a different story. While I'm fortunate to have not missed a scheduled date with the Case Studies for paid newsletter subs, I have missed a number (think around 4-5) posts for Startup Spotlight.

Even though the Startup Spotlight posts are free, it still doesn't look good that I'm not fulfilling my obligations.

To be clear - I'll never regret rightfully prioritizing my job and its demands first, but I can do a better job of communicating when I won't be able to publish on this day or next.

I owe that to my readers. So I plan to address these points and make amends.

Day 138: Actually Saying "No."

And just like that, I had another founder reach out to me (that I previously wrote on) saying their team needs a story. (They just got acquired!) Unfortunately, I had to turn them down. I have to say
