Day 28: Slowing Things Down

I'm feeling great after a good eight hours of sleep.

I'm also feeling good because I had an important realization last night (see my last blog post).

Right now, I'm wrapping up one chapter of my life to begin another. (It's funny how since graduation, my life can be clearly delineated by 2-year stints - will elaborate in a future blog post!).

There's a part of me that wants to hit the ground running with my next job, but my parents have wisely told me to slow down, wrap things up where I'm at now, and enjoy what time I have left home.

And they are 100% right. I've worked really hard for the opportunities I have in front of me. I have nothing to be stressed about. I've punched about all expectations with my writing.

Speaking about my writing - I won't be talking much about Forbes going forward. I've done the calculations (haha) and I won't be hitting 200 stories before my new job starts. That's okay.

I'm ready to take things slow. More tomorrow!
