Day 30: Old Me; Better Body

I went for a walk this morning. It helped me start off my day on the right foot.


Today happens to be the last day of the year. Tomorrow comes 2021.


I don't have any New Years' resolutions. Like everyone else, I hope with every coming year is better than the one that precedes it.


Especially in 2021. 2020 was just rough for about everyone.


I do have life resolutions, however. In 2021 and beyond, I want to focus on three key areas:

  • Health: Fitness and Sleep

  • Learning: Coding and Business

  • Creating: Writing and Video

Breaking it down even further:

  • Fitness: Getting into daily calisthenics (e.g. bodyweight exercises) since the gyms are closed.

  • Sleep: Getting 8 hours of sleep a night.

  • Coding: Learning general software engineering principles and machine learning algorithms, especially natural language processing

  • Business: Learning more about venture capital financing/investing

  • Writing: Continue daily writing, especially focus on Founder to Founder.

  • Video: Continue daily vlogging with editing.

The good thing: I'm already doing four out of six of these things already on a daily basis. Coding and business are the two that I want to incorporate into my daily routine.

I'll probably expand on coding and business in future blog posts. But the overall goal is to work towards the old me in a better body. (More on this in the future/today's vlog.)
