Day 6: I'm Not Ready To "Scale" Yet
It's a weird title for a blog post.
But it's true. I'm not ready to "scale" yet.
As much as I want to do the big things sooner rather than later (read: right now!), I'm not in a position to do that.
I actually think that over the years, looking back, my efforts to do big things as soon as possible slowed me down, because I didn't take care of the little things.
I don't have much going on in life right now. As much as it sucks, the bright side of it is that I know have the time to focus on the little things.
Like getting regular sleep. And eating healthy.
As an engineer, I always knew the "devil was in the details." The same can be said for life, as it's mastering the little things that make the biggest difference. As I continue to get better at the little things, I'll make more progress faster. But it all starts with one consistent step at a time, one foot in front of the other.
You have to learn to walk before you can run. I'm "learning to walk" at the age of 26. Hooray!
Here's to small steps, one day at a time.
