Day 97: Studying Deep Learning, Data Structures & Algorithms

So my current role at work involves a good chunk of programming. In the beginning, I had the opportunity to work on a couple of coding tasks, specifically ones that dealt with machine learning.

I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. The past two and a half months have been more documentation work, with zero coding involved.

That was not fun.

But now I'm back on an upswing with opportunities to code again. I really want to spend time digging in and learning the math and computer science behind deep learning, so I'm taking machine learning courses as well as studying data structures and algorithms.

I'd like to shift the blog more from what's going on in my personal life (which I don't like to discuss in written format much anymore) to where I'm trying to go professionally.

Blogging about my self-study of deep learning for natural language processing will be a fun hobby.
