Days #68-82: Addressing The Ignored Parts Of My Life

Updated: May 5, 2020

Ok, so once again, I've dropped the ball on daily blogging and vlogging. What's incredible is that for the latter, I have had vlogs filmed and ready to upload for the days and weeks now.

It's silly.

The reason why is because I've been spending so much time writing in my free time outside of work.

It's taken up too much of my time. I've noticed I've stopped doing everything else except for gaming and eating fast food.

Not the kind of life I was planning to live after graduating from grad school.

I love writing professionally for Forbes, but I feel there's not much else to accomplish after hitting 100 stories.

There are so many other areas of my life I've neglected because I've been so obsessed with writing on Forbes. Sleep, fitness, learning, etc.

Today's the last day of just going through the motions with work and writing. I'm taking getting my sleep seriously from now on, as that is the single biggest barrier to me accomplishing all my other goals.

I'm not staying up late anymore to write. That can always come tomorrow.

Best,

Soda

Day 138: Actually Saying "No."

And just like that, I had another founder reach out to me (that I previously wrote on) saying their team needs a story. (They just got acquired!) Unfortunately, I had to turn them down. I have to say
